Steps
- Get the Move-In/Out and Deliveries Policy and its application form from the owner portal.
- At least 7 business days before the move, send the completed form to management. Management contacts the moving coordinator for you.
- At least 7 days before the move, pay the $500 damage deposit by check or money order.
- At least 5 business days before the move, send your mover’s certificate of insurance, with at least $1,000,000 of coverage. Without it, the move cannot take place. Management asks for the form and the certificate in one email.
- On moving day, the coordinator checks the route before and after the move and photographs any damage. In the Flats, the elevator pads must be used.
- Management refunds the deposit within 20 working days, minus the cost of any repairs.
The moving coordinator charges a fee. The documents give different amounts, so ask management for the current fee.
On moving day

- Never move large items through a balcony or a window.
- Flatten moving boxes and take them to the recycling area.
- Flats elevator: the door is 42 in. wide and 84 in. high. Inside, the elevator is 81 in. wide, 89 in. high and 50 in. deep.
