Who to call

Updated

In an emergency, call 911

If someone is hurt or in danger, or you see a fire or a crime happening, call 911.

Quick numbers

Water leak or flood in your home

Call management right away at the numbers above. During business hours, speak with a person; do not leave a message. Do not report a leak by email after hours or on weekends.

Management counts these as emergencies: water coming from another home (such as stains on a wall or ceiling), a toilet overflowing when the bathroom is above another home, a fire sprinkler going off, and any flood from a water source in your home. If there is a fire, call 911 first.

City problems: San José 311

San José 311 takes City requests that are not emergencies: graffiti, dumped trash and free junk pickup.

Free junk pickup

The City picks up furniture, mattresses, appliances and other large items for free. Book it first through San José 311. Items set out without a booking count as illegal dumping. Ask management where to put them. City of San José: Junk Pickup

Gas smell

If you smell natural gas, leave the area now and call 911. Then call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.

Power outages

PG&E customers can see current outages on the PG&E Outage Center.

Water outages

Contact the water company named on your water bill, or management.

Emergency alerts

AlertSCC is Santa Clara County’s free emergency alert system. It sends warnings to your phone or email. Sign up for AlertSCC.

Common areas

For a problem in a common area that is not an emergency:

  • Owners: contact management through the owner portal. The owner portal is for owners.
  • Tenants: tell your landlord or the rental management company your landlord uses.
